What We Aim For

This site targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is a standard to build against, not a certificate, so what follows is a description of what was actually done.

What Has Been Built In

• Every interactive element can be reached and used with a keyboard, menus included.
• Focus is always visible, so you can see where you are on the page.
• A skip link jumps straight to the main content.
• Text and background colours are checked for contrast.
• Images carry descriptive alternative text that names what is in them.
• Headings run in order, so a screen reader can navigate by structure.
• Animation switches off automatically if your device asks for reduced motion.
• Buttons and links meet minimum touch target sizes on phones.
• Every page works with JavaScript turned off.

A Gap We Know About

The embedded Google map is a third-party component and we do not control how accessible it is. Every place it shows is also written out as text on the same page, so nothing here exists only inside the map.

If Something Does Not Work

Please tell us. A plain description of what you were trying to do and what happened instead is more useful than a technical report, and we would much rather hear about it than not know.
